Inflammation plays a key role in frailty and predicts post-treatment outcomes in cancer patients. Interventions targeting inflammation could potentially alleviate frailty and enhance outcomes. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), found in green tea, shows promise as an anti-inflammatory intervention for frailty, offering low toxicity compared to traditional drugs.
